Egypt's Minister of Transportation told press that the electric train connecting Salam City line, the New Administrative Capital, and 10th of Ramadan City together will be in service in October 2021. The pilot operation will begin in next August 2021. The other two transportation projects linking the New Capital with other districts of Egypt are the monorail stretching to 6th October City, and the high-speed train between Alamein and Ain Al Sokhna.
